How do monthly free credits work?
Every verified account gets 30 free credits per calendar month, including accounts with a paid plan. They renew on the first at 00:00 UTC. Unused monthly free credits expire and do not roll over. They are used before purchased credits. Fast costs 1 credit and Fine detail costs 2, with full-resolution output up to 50 MP.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Buy a one-time credit pack whenever you need more. It has no recurring charge, and its credits never expire.
Can I buy a pack while subscribed?
Yes. Packs add to the same balance and keep their no-expiry terms. Your subscription keeps its normal renewal date.
What uses a credit?
Fast removal uses 1 credit. Fine detail uses 2. Smart Brush uses 1 per request; a generated scene uses 3. These optional AI tools have separate costs.
Manual edits, background colors, cropping and repeat exports from an existing image use no extra credits. Files expire after an hour.
What happens when I reach a limit?
Website uploads use your credits first. At zero credits, you can use five free Fast removals per day, up to 12 MP. This allowance does not reset when you top up or spend credits. Fine detail, API calls and AI tools still require credits.
The daily free allowance has a short queue and a shared daily capacity limit. Monthly free and purchased credits use the same separate queue. Failed processing returns reserved credits.
